Earlswood Lakes took five years to construct in the early 1800s.. They were built at
 the summit level of the nearby Stratford on Avon Canal, to provide a water source
which would keep the canal topped up. There are three lakes in the system; Engine
Pool, the Windmill Pool, which is where we sail, and Terry's Pool.
Entry to the club is between houses 36 and 40 on Malthouse lane (see view below)
