Some simple SAFETY ADVICE is available here.

The cost of the course includes membership of the club for the balance
of the year enabling you to continue sailing and hire the club boats.
There are several ways of learning to sail.  You can buy a boat and
fall in a lot – or, you can go on a sailing course which gives you
a sailing qualification recognised worldwide.

Every year we run one or two training weekends to RYA1 (which
is the first level of the Royal Yachting Associations sailing skills training system)
using our own RYA qualified instructors. We can also run RYA level 2 and 3.
These training weekends normally take place in spring giving you the rest of the summer
to practise and become proficient during the warm weather.
Boats are supplied for the training and included in the cost.
